two openings mid level role: senior role: Liferay, flash/flex, java, java script, fusion charts, HTML 5...are important aspects to being successful in this role. Experience Required: Must Have: -5-10+ years of J2EE Web application experiences including: - Java Portal Technology (i.e. Liferay). -- SOA Web Services, Struts framework, Cache Framework, XML, servlets/JSPs, JavaScript, Transact SQL/MS SQL Stored Procedure, IBM Rational Development Tools (especially current version of RAD or RSA) and Web sphere application server. - 5+ years in database design and modeling. - 5+ years in application design and UML (Class and Sequence Diagrams). - 5+ years in backend data load scripts - Prior experience in Web Service Development is a must. - Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. - Strong Communication Skills. Critical Responsibilities: - Responsible for project UI Java development. - Develop detailed design documents from requirements documents - Work with DA/DBA/BA to implement necessary data model changes. - Perform technical inspections for work products with application SMEs. Experience Preferred: Nice To Have: - Functional Business Knowledge. - Previous Project Management experience. - Demonstrated use of Risk Management. - Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP. - Experience with Linux / UNIX environment. - Knowledge of design patterns. - Sun Certified Java Developer. - Experience with SDLC Methodology. - Strong J2EE design and development skills. - Experience with Agile development projects. - Ability to drive performance improvements. Other: - Will need to interface closely with Developers, SDAs, Business Analysts, Architects, and DA/DBAs to understand requirements, identify solutions and resolve issues. - Will need to work across internal teams to ensure interfaces and/or integration points are well coordinated. - May interact with senior IT specialists, and business counterparts.
