85,000 - 100,000 plus bonus

Support of the day-to-day assembly operation, response to equipment breakdown situations; determine cause of downtime and resolution to provide quick turnaround. Utilize day to day support requirement to implement effective and efficient changes in assembly and maintenance functions, using POKE-YOKE, or program changes to improve cycle time. Support various projects related to new products, improved processes or decrease equipment downtime, including upgrading controls of equipment to provide support by maintenance team. This position will require an individual to have flexibility to multitask within an array of day-to-day operations support requirements. Execution of improvements to manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. Oversight of electrical controls and design layout of new equipment built within maintenance division. Implementation of a user friendly interface supporting door fabrication for better quality control and new model platforms. Create and implement strategies to support Master Factory Plan and new product platforms Safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives Determining root cause of problems and implementing corrective & preventative actions Performing Lean Sigma project work, and implementing Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout area of responsibility Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required 3+ years experience as an engineer in support of the daily operations of a manufacturing facility or facilities Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Controls (ex. SLCs, ControlLogix, RSLogix…) including ladder logic programming and programming experience with Allen Bradley Panelviews, Panelview Plus, Wonderware Intouch and other HMI hardware and software TCPIP networking, switching, routing, VLAN's, SQL database design and maintenance. Experience with .Net application development using Visual Studio, Active Directory design and maintenance. Experience installing and maintaining PC's and servers. Experience with Windows XP, 7 server 2003/2008 Proficient utilizing MS Office, MS Project, MS Access, AutoCAD, and VB (Visual Basic), Factory Talk Transaction Manager, Asset Manager Project management experience that will allow you to lead a team of cross functional members to deliver successful result on time Proven leadership ability, excellent communicator, confidence inspirer, and self motivator Strong problem solving skills to determine root cause of problems and implement corrective & preventative actions Additional Skills and Experience of Interest: Execution of improvements to manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. Oversight of electrical controls and design layout of purchased equipment and internally produced equipment. Ability to manage concurrent projects and respond to internal customer needs. Excellent organizational skills. Ambition to look beyond just the assumed EE support functions and identify cost savings and operational improvements that drive real change and enhancements. This may include POKE-YOKE and other lean manufacturing concepts. Understanding of 480vac and 120vac power distribution system. Ability to interpret and apply the N.E.C. and other state and local codes Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Experience in motion controls, Servos, VFD, etc. Good understanding of Vision Inspection systems and benefits Support to 24-hour / day assembly processes Safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of Plastics Extrusion and/or Metal Fabrication process equipment a plus. Experience in Lean Manufacturing Methods.
